Yesterday December 20th, the work on repairing and upgrading the satellite television system was completed and service restored to the building. When Mr. Araujo took over the Administration on October 3rd, the Security department vandalized and destroyed much of the existing system, causing the building to be without television service since that date.

On the new Committees arrival, the decision was taken to repair and upgrade the system for which a new contract was signed with Sky Television Services  and the channels received from the US were reactivated for use by our foreign owners. The monthly cost for these services will be approximately US$1,800 per month which will be paid partly by the rental pools in proportion to the number of condos each manages, and the remaining amount by the Condo for owners who are not in a rental pool

During the month of December, the equipment was installed and yesterday this process was completed and the system placed in service with a total of 25 channels which cover the need of all our English, Spanish, French and Italian Owners. The channels which will be available by January 1st are listed below
